This shoot has been in the making for the past year. A good friend showed me this grounded Fishing Trolley while we were out looking for birds to photograph. Once I saw this subject I knew it had such great possibilities.

Throughout my trips to the Houston area for work I have made at least 7 attempts. Unfortunately my hotel room lies north of Houston so gauging the cloud activity has been pretty impossible. That in itself is where my attempts have always failed.

Let me say this........no scenic image will ever have the kind of impact on a clear sky as it will have on a scattered clouded sky! I have shot many subjects both with and without and the result is always the same.

CLOUDS CLOUDS CLOUDS! GIVE ME CLOUDS!

In fact I make my decisions in most cases on whether I'm going to doing any scenic photography based totally on the sky.

Well I feel very satisfied with my result and feel ready to embark on my next challenge.
